Two designated faculty members works as ‘student advisors’ academic  and campus life advising. A formal academic orientation programme is organized by the department each year targeting entry-level students to familiarize them on course requirements, assessment and grading, promotion, re-admission, improvement of grading and others alike. Academic advising also help the students locate on and off campus libraries and online facilities. Students irrespective of their level of education (BSS and MSS) can consult the student advisors to about their academic and personal including assessment and grading, promotion, re-admission, improvement of grading and so on.
